Profile

Timmy Pielmeier is a member of the IP team in our Zurich office. He represents and advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property law with a focus on, copyright, design and trademark law as well as unfair competition law.

Prior to joining MLL Legal, Timmy worked as a research assistant at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and at the TUM School of Management (Digital Goods, Commerce and Competition). During his time as a doctoral scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, he wrote his dissertation on copyright and unfair competition law. His professional experience also includes an legal clerkship at the Federal Ministry of Justice (Germany) with a stay in Brussels (Council) and an internship at the German Bundestag with a stay in Strasbourg (Council of Europe).
