When gender equality is driven by market demand
The one-page interview of partners Nadine von Büren-Maier, Maud Udry-Alhanko and Mona Stephenson presents their views on issues regarding women in the law, trends in gender equality and MLL’s approach to the topic.
All three partners are also mothers and all underline the importance of having the support of their workplace and of their families in order to achieve their objectives and conduct their profession with passion. They also consider that it is natural and necessary for law firms to reflect what is already happening in other sectors, which is the increase of women in leadership roles; as law firm clients become increasingly feminine, they expect their lawyers to reflect this reality.
