MLL Legal advised Verlinvest in its investment into Sinomedica
MLL Legal acted as lead counsel to Verlinvest, a global growth equity investor that backs category-defining consumer brands, in its investment in Sinomedica, a leading Swiss group of acupuncture centres.
The investment will allow Sinomedica, which is pioneering a science-based approach to medical acupuncture that uses innovative techniques to tackle a range of health concerns, including obesity, to accelerate growth in its existing home market of Switzerland and into new European markets, as it capitalises on increasing interest in the acupuncture field.
The team was co-led by Christoph Heiz (Of Counsel, Corporate & M&A) and Sergio Bortolani (Partner, Corporate & M&A) and included Thomas Nabholz (Partner, Tax), Marc Baumberger (Associate, Corporate & M&A) and Thaís Obrist-Bdine (Associate, Tax).
