Profile

Boris Inderbitzin is an attorney at law with many years of experience at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy. He is a proficient strategic legal counsellor, specialist in matters of the governance of digitisation, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. He has industry experience in power generation, power trade, energy services and building technology, ICT (telecommunication, Internet access and service provider, cloud service provider), international trade and services, sport events, as well as government and international affairs across a multilateral setting.

Before joining MLL Legal, Boris Inderbitzin worked at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, where he helped to define Switzerland’s position in digitisation and international law. He was expert member of the Swiss delegation to UNESCO negotiating the Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and to the Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAI) of the Council of Europe negotiating the Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law.

Boris is a German and French native speaker, is proficient in English and fluent in Italian. He often appears as speaker, panellist, and moderator.
