As part of its dedication to sustainability issues, MLL Legal runs a cross-sector sustainable economy group which advises charities, non-profit organisations, mission-driven companies and impact investors on all their legal matters, especially on structuring, sustainability, ethics and governance issues.
This transversal approach allows the clients to benefit both from legal and strategic advice. It is hence with immense pleasure that our ESG-related efforts have been recognised by the first-time inclusion in the Legal 500 EMEA Green Guide 2024.
Key projects of our ESG practice area and lawyers include assisting institutional investors, banks, private equity and venture capital funds in sustainable finance transactions and activities, advising on projects on new forest management and biodiversity, pursuing our very own B Corp certification and participating in the Boards of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL) and Sustainable Finance Geneva.

Legal 500’s Green Hub is the first and only single platform dedicated entirely to exploring the legal sector’s engagement with a green transition. Its annual guide puts a spotlight on key legal firms around the globe which have been able to showcase a contribution to the green transition. It aims to provide a holistic view on firms’ engagement with sustainability, including both work for clients as well as firms’ own best practices and initiatives.
