MLLStart! acts as Swiss Lead Counsel in the acquisition of TrainAway by boddy
With the recent acquisition of the Danish company TrainAway by Swiss travel-tech start-up company boddy, the world’s largest wellbeing network for travellers has been created. It has been a pleasure advising boddy in our capacity as Swiss Lead Counsel on the successful acquisition of 100% of TrainAway’s shares.
The team to support boddy was led by Karin Oberlin (Partner, Transactions/MLLStart!) and included Melanie Müller (Senior Associate, Transaction/MLLStart!) and Thomas Nabholz (Partner, Tax). Established in 2019 in Zurich, boddy provides an easy way for travellers to digitally book their desired wellbeing experience in any given destination. By joining forces with TrainAway, they have tapped into a global digital network of more than 1,500 fitness clubs worldwide, enabling travellers to get access to gyms on the go.
