Legal Opinion for Interpharma on the Swiss Legislation on the Secondary use of health data in Switzerland
Jointly with Dr. Ursula Widmer, MLL Legal’s Lukas Bühlmann, Michael Schüepp and Max Königseder had the privilege to issue an extensive legal opinion for Interpharma on the Swiss legislation on the secondary use of health data in Switzerland.
The report analyses the current legal framework for the secondary use of health data in Switzerland and shows the existing legislative obstacles in depth. Finally, the report uses use cases to show which legislative measures would be necessary to make the widely demanded secondary use of health data possible and to strengthen Switzerland as a centre of research.
