International Women’s Day 2022: MLL supports the Break The Bias campaign

MLL is proud to support the International Women’s Day’s 2022 campaign to break the bias.

The International Women’s Day (IWD) break the bias campaign aims to create awareness of the bias, stereotypes, and discrimination that women still face today. By being conscious about these inequalities, each person individually as well as organisations can collectively break the bias to help forge an inclusive world.

MLL is committed to being a diverse and inclusive employer. The firm has long adopted diversity policies that apply to important processes within the firm including talent selection and recruitment, performance management, promotions and training.

To champion MLL’s diversity and inclusion agenda, MLL appointed Karin Oberlin as Head of Diversity last year. Karin is a partner in the firm’s corporate and finance department in Zurich. She also heads MLLStart! the firm’s start-up desk. She is a passionate advocate of diversity in the workplace of which gender diversity is an important part. Karin Oberlin says: “companies in Switzerland have a long way to go to achieve diversity in the workplace and especially in leadership positions. At MLL we want to actively contribute to this change. We are very happy to participate in the IWN break the bias campaign to celebrate the female talent within our firm and beyond, and to reiterate our commitment to breaking the bias against women”.
