Partner & Counsel Promotions 2024: Congratulations to Jacques Johner, Stefan Schröter, Gabriel Meier and Jérôme Pidoux
On behalf of the entire MLL Legal partnership it is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Jacques Johner and Stefan Schröter to Partners and Gabriel Meier and Jérôme Pidoux to Counsel as per 1 January 2024. We congratulate each one of them for reaching this significant milestone in their careers and wish them continued success in their new role! Jacques Johner: Partner
Jacques started as a Junior Associate in 2015 and was promoted to Associate in 2017 and to Senior Associate in 2021. He is a member of the Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practice groups in our Geneva and Lausanne offices.

Expertise:
Jacques’ practice includes all real estate, construction law, land and use planning law, as well as public procurement law and other aspects of public law related topics. He has vast experience in real estate transactions and in advising clients in connection with construction, renovation and development projects.
Stefan Schröter: Partner
Stefan joined us as an Associate in 2011 and was promoted to Counsel in 2020. He is a member of the IP practice group in our Zurich office.

Expertise:
Stefan has wide-ranging experience with unfair competition cases as well as in registration and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights, design rights and geographical indications. He has a focus on anti-counterfeit and e-commerce issues with particular expertise in the sectors of retail, fashion, electronics, furniture, healthcare and life science.
Gabriel Meier: Counsel
Gabriel joined MLL Legal as a Senior Associate in July 2022. He is a member of the Corporate and M&A practice group in our Zurich office.

Expertise:
Gabriel’s main areas of practice focus on general corporate law, the sale and acquisition of companies and the structuring of joint ventures. He has a particular interest in legal topics in the field of artificial intelligence. He also advises clients on labour law issues and has broad experience in drafting commercial contracts such as manufacturing and distribution agreements.
Jérôme Pidoux: Counsel
Jérôme started as an Associate in 2014. He is a member of the Banking & Finance and Corporate and M&A practice groups in our Zurich office.

Expertise:
Jérôme’s practice focuses on transactional and regulatory matters. He regularly advises clients on M&A and financing transactions. He further advises asset managers, collective investment schemes and other financial institutions in relation to their activities in Switzerland, their licensing requirements, as well as the offering of financial instruments and services.
