On 19 June 2026, the Annual Congress of the EPSG (Estate Planning Skill Group) took place at the Conseil Supérieur du Notariat in Paris. This year’s congress was dedicated to the French civil company (SCI) in a cross-border context, with a focus on civil and tax issues.
Maud Udry-Alhanko, Partner at MLL Legal, participated as a speaker in the panel discussion “Securities and Finance: A Comparative Analysis of Belgium, France and Switzerland in Relation to Matrimonial Property Regimes”, alongside Sophie Maquet, notary at Maquet & Bertouille in Belgium, and Camille Anger, lawyer at bwg in Paris.
The conference brought together numerous experts, academics, and practitioners from Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland to share their analyses and insights. The congress highlighted the growing complexity of cross-border estate and wealth planning and underscored the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue among practitioners across jurisdictions.
