Profile

Christian Rebell is a partner in MLL Legal’s Corporate and M&A team. He specializes on corporate law and M&A, financings and capital market law. Christian regularly advises clients on domestic and cross-border M&A and financing transactions, the structuring and dissolution of joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters.

Christian has a strong track record on advising international clients in the acquisition of Swiss companies in a broad range of industries. He also regularly advises venture capital funds on investments in tech and biotech start-ups. He regularly publishes in his areas of expertise.

Christian studied in Switzerland, Germany and England. He holds a Ph. D. from the University of Berne and an LL.M. degree from King’s College London. He is a bilingual native speaker of German and French and also fluent in English.

Advised lead investor Octopus Ventures, a pan-European venture capital fund supporting more than 200 businesses, on its Series B investment into deskbird, Europe’s fastest-growing workplace management platform.
Advised the German publishing house Olympia-Verlag and its affiliate kicker ventures on a strategic joint venture with Ringier Sports Media Group, which will make available a new digital sports offer to the Swiss public.

Müller-Steinag is an owner-managed, independent family enterprise with around 1,150 staff members and activities in the areas of concrete products, natural construction materials, recycling, waste management and water technology. Creabeton Matériaux is a leading manufacturer of pre-fabricated concrete products in the French part of Switzerland, with four important production facilities and approx. 380 staff members
