MLL Legal is setting sail with the Oliver Heer Ocean Racing Team
We are excited to announce that MLL Legal has partnered up with the Oliver Heer Ocean Racing Team to provide Oliver legal support and sponsorship to compete in the world’s toughest sailing challenge, the Vendée Globe. The 10th run of the Vendée Globe will take place in November 2024 from Les Sables-d’Olonne in France and is a 44,000km, solo, non-stop, unassisted around-the-world yacht race.
Oliver Heer is a Swiss sailor from Zurich who, after graduating with a business degree, followed his dream to become a professional sailor. His campaign spans across three years and encompasses values that MLL Legal stands for in becoming the Swiss Law Firm of the Future:
- pushing boundaries of performance, knowledge and technology
- pursuing purpose-driven economic, social and environmental goals
- employing leading experts and teams to best fulfil stakeholder expectations
“Competing in the Vendée Globe Race is the ultimate challenge and has always been my ambition since I was a child. Having worked and competed alongside the best in this sport, I am confident that we can put together a worthy campaign”, says Oliver Heer.
