MLL Legal advised Vorwerk Ventures and HCS Capital in CarbonPool Holding AG CHF 10.5m seed financing round
On 29 January 2024, CarbonPool Holding AG announced that its CHF 10.5m seed financing round, co-led by Vorwerk Ventures and Heartcore Capital and including HCS Capital (among others), has successfully closed.
CarbonPool, currently working on an insurance license application in Switzerland, is set to be the world’s first provider of carbon credit insurance with claims payments made in-kind for failure to achieve net zero commitments due to shortfalls, reversals, business interruptions and natural catastrophes that either reduce the amount of carbon dioxide removals contracted for or unintentionally add carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere.
