Arduino’s €22 million investment round led by CDP Venture Capital

MLL Legal, in collaboration with Bird & Bird, advised CDP Venture Capital and the U.S. investment fund Anzu Partners in its investment in Arduino.

Originating from the Interaction Design Institute in Ivrea, Arduino, an open-source tool for rapid prototyping, has secured an additional €22 million in funding taking our Series B funding to $54 million. This follows a €32 million investment round from early June 2022.

Leading this round is CDP Venture Capital, Italy’s largest VC firm, which participated through its large invested through its large ventures fund. Also contributing are the U.S. investment fund Anzu Partners, who were involved in the previous round, and Arm, a global leader in semiconductor technology.

The new infusion of capital will strengthen Arduino’s R&D department in Turin, facilitating its worldwide expansion into the enterprise and cloud domains. This will further advance its transformative platform initiative for professional clients, simplifying their entry into IoT and AI by offering a seamless transition from hardware to cloud.
