Dmitry Pentsov will be chairing and speaking at the Academy & Finance Conference “Estate Planning for Digital Assets” in Geneva on 25 November 2021.
With the participation of specialist speakers, this conference will cover the perspectives of the European Union, Switzerland, USA, Russia and Brazil.
The areas of focus will be on how to address the importance and challenges of estate planning for digital assets and what different estate planning techniques exist to avoid pitfalls and ensure smooth administration of digital assets. The tax dimension will also be addressed, namely relating to the tax treatment of various types of digital assets such as cryptocurrency, NFTs and copyrightable digital assets.
