Sanctions against Russia: legal consequences for Swiss businesses on 27 October 2022
On 27 October 2022 MLL Legal’s senior associate James F. Reardon will be a speaker and moderator at the conference on “Sanctions against Russia: legal consequences for Swiss businesses”. The conference will take place in the Fribourg University.
This one-day conference seeks to address two main issues Swiss companies have, namely (i) understanding international and Swiss sanctions imposed on Russia and their legal consequences and (ii) obtaining practical guidance on sanctions compliance (regulatory and contractual). The conference combines presentations, panel discussions and working sessions.
The conference aims to enhance the participant’s understanding of the legal implications of the financial and trade sanctions adopted by Switzerland and other key jurisdictions and provide practical advice to address the challenges facing Swiss corporations impacted by those sanctions.
