AIJA’s Half-Year November Conference about Environment, Climate and Sustainability on 16 – 19 November 2022 in Edinburgh

The International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) Half-Year Conference will take place in Edinburgh from 16 – 19 November 2022. On 18 November 2022, MLL Legal’s partner Julien Tron and Vice-President of the International Private and Family Law Commission of AIJA will be one of the speakers at the session 5 “Charitable purposes: investing responsibly to reflect ESG considerations. Does climate trump investment return?”.

The session will be moderated by Emma Holland (Stewarts, United Kingdom) and includes Stephanie Mooney (Kingsley Napley, United Kingdom), Julien Tron (MLL Legal, Switzerland), Mark McKeown (Turcan Connell, United Kingdom – Scotland), Melanie Burtscher (Schwärzler Rechtsanwälte, Liechtenstein) and Aw Wen Ni (Wong Partnership, Singapore) and is organised by the International Private Clients and Family Law.

The AIJA Half-Year November Conference focuses on issues pertaining to Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance – or “ESG” – goals and will be concentrating on the various environmental and sustainability aspects of ESG.

AIJA is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under. Since 1962 AIJA provides outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop.
