Elio Correia Fonseca

Elio Correia Fonseca is an associate lawyer in the firm’s dispute resolution team in Geneva, where he assists individuals and companies in all civil and criminal proceedings, as well as international arbitration. Elio primarily specializes in labour law and international arbitration. He regularly advises Swiss and international clients on all matters related to their employment relationships and immigration status.

In the field of arbitration, Elio has notably acted as counsel and secretary to the arbitral tribunal in several commercial arbitration proceedings. Before joining the firm, Elio obtained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Geneva, a Master of Law from the Universities of Geneva and Basel and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions (ECAV) from the University of Geneva.

During his studies, he worked for an international arbitration law firm in Geneva (2018-2021). Before joining the firm, he interned in the legal department of a Geneva-based private bank, where he also worked as legal counsel. Prior to successfully completing his bar exam in October 2024, Elio first joined the firm as a junior associate in 2023.

He is fluent in French, Portuguese and English and is proficient in German and Spanish.
