Attorney-at-law DLT (Blockchain), FinTech & Regulatory (100%), London
In London, our office has built a large international network as well as a familiarity with Anglo-Saxon business practices and professional expectations. Located in the heart of the City, the local team advises mainly UK and US clients on Swiss law matters in a variety of practice areas, including corporate law/M&A, banking & finance, regulation of financial services, including DLT (blockchain) & FinTech as well as aviation and employment. Thanks to MLL Legal’s fully integrated structure, we can rely on the support of our colleagues in Zurich, Geneva and Zug, enabling us to work on large transactions.
You enjoy legal issues related to regulatory, DLT & FinTech and have an interest in innovative and disruptive topics such as mobile payment services, digital financial services, decentralised autonomous organisations and ecosystems, decentralised layer 1 or layer 2 infrastructures, decentralised (DeFi) and centralised financial market infrastructures (exchanges and trading venues), play-to-earn gaming, NFTs and marketplaces, trading signals, trading bots, innovative financial instruments (e.g. derivatives, structured products, ETPs) or tokenisation of financial instruments or goods.
You are admitted to the Swiss bar, are fluent in English and ideally hold an LL.M. from a US or UK university and/or have work experience abroad. Your mother tongue is German or French. You have drive and personality, a flair for technical issues, enjoy interdisciplinary work and want to contribute to the further development of our team.
You can expect an innovative business law firm, a small and well-rehearsed team led by our partner Dunja Koch and beautiful premises in the City of London. Our firm offers interesting development prospects, also for a possible future return to Switzerland.
If we have triggered your interest and you would like to become part of our team, we look forward to receiving your application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Direct job applications are preferred.
